This is a 6-week session of 1-hour classes where you will work with all the basic cues: sit, stay, lay down, place and loose leash walking. One cue will be worked on each class and they are consecutive.

The main goal is to help your dog excel in these cues by challenging them with duration and distance. You are welcome to use a clicker but it isn't required for this class.

Bring your dog in on a leash with a martingale or flat collar. Treats are used for initial motivation before they dogs are taught cues they will respond to instead.

Dress for the weather, as some of our training work may be done outside in the parking lot to challenge your dog with additional distractions.

Please be aware that ALL dogs must have their vet requirements pre-approved and confirmed before attendance:

  • DHPP

  • Bordetella (done within the last 6 months; repeated every 6 months)

  • Rabies

  • Fecal float - done within 30 days of class start; repeated every 6 months

Once your dog's vet requirements have been confirmed, you can attend!

Click the button below and you will be able to create a log in for our daycare and training system. This is the first step to taking this class!

This is a six week class to improve the communication between you and your dog. We will work on basic obedience skills, such as leash manners, look, sit, down, wait, etc., as well as overall strengthening the bond between the dog and the handler.

We recommend martingale or prong collars to protect your dog’s trachea, high value and low value treats for different exercises and distraction levels. If your dog has a hard time settling around other dogs, you can bring stuffed Kongs or high value chews to help occupy them between exercises.

If your dog is not ready for a class setting, we offer private lessons as well to help prepare for the distracting environment.

Please be aware ALL dogs must have their vet requirements pre-approved and confirmed before attendance:

The first class will be an orientation, where we ask that you leave your puppy at home so we can discuss what to expect in our first official class (Week 2).
